Teleportation

This is my first (and only) attempt motion comic!

Process

This started out pretty simple, my goal was to a smooth continuous gif of someone moving through a page. However it got complicated as I got more and more suggestions like making the teleportation effect go from blue to white and add subtle motions of the characters like the cat blinking or the finger moving. These suggestions gave the page so much more life, but … because of my inexperience I did it all on photoshop and maybe exceeded file size capabilities.

So much so the night before the deadline, my file wouldn’t save and I made the decision to reduce the image quality to escape the possibility of loosing hours of work. I still like it a lot.
